Spacious, very clean, quaint even ! Traditional furniture and more modern facilities mixed well, very in keeping with the beautiful house and garden which are Victorian ) I think !?) Essentials provided which is always welcome Special note: the best info folder about the house, village, surrounding area etc I have ever seen !!! 5 Really lovely village too. Also a thoughtful welcome pack We had the pleasure of meeting our lovely hosts too

A beautiful house; comfortable, welcoming and stylish. Lindsey and Martin were extremely helpful and provided many thoughtful touches, from the buckets and spades for the kids, to the lovely wine for us and some cookies that we could all enjoy. We all really enjoyed our stay and are already hoping to plan a return trip. Absolutely recommend, you will not be disappointed.

We stayed at Alpha House in March 2022 and had a fantastic week on the Yorkshire coast. Alpha House is perfect for a family with lots of space and a really well-equipped kitchen. The house is brilliantly located too - a couple of minutes from a local shop, decent local pub and play area; a 10-15mins walk to Robin Hoods Bay and the coast (and some great fish and chips!); and about a 10min drive to Whitby (including a Sainsburys). Obviously, the house isnt right in Robin Hoods Bay - its in Fylingthorpe but the walk is very manageable and doesnt have the limited road access the the village of RHB has. We were hugely lucky for the time of year with sun every day and managed days out to Whitby, Staithes, and Scarborough. Lindsey was a brilliant host too - hugely helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend.
