40p to spend a penny? Given the car park charges a bit over the top, I think .

These are the he most disgusting public toilets I have ever used, and that's saying something. Considering the number of tourists who visit and bring money into the town, they deserve better. As do the locals.

Oh dear. While the actual toilets themselves in the Ladies were clean with plenty of toilet roll the washing facilities and the building itself were disgusting. The hand soap dispenser was empty and hanging off the wall and there was no hot water (only a feeble trickle of cold). Surprisingly, the hand dryer actually worked. The facilities looked like they hadn't been upgraded or painted in about 50 years. Hubby said the gents was minging. He was grateful for his mask because they stunk so badly. He likened them to something you would expect to find on a cheap 1970s campsite. Considering the huge number of paying tourists that this little village welcomes every day the state of these "facilities" was appalling. It's 6 to park your car, so where does all our money go?
