I went into this Boots branch with an very urgent prescription that had been emailed to me following two failed heart operations and devastating news after an ECG. Instead of helping me in distress and providing the medication I so badly needed, the Manager and Pharmacist went on and on at me Apparently, I couldnt just forward the emailed prescription on to them. Instead I had to get my consultant to ring them, then get him to email them the prescription and then get him to follow it up with a paper copy in the post! All this after receiving very bad news about extreme illness. These two women need retraining so that they can appreciate that Boots have a contract with the NHS and part of this is to provide supportive medical assistance to citizens with varying and sometime urgent health needs. Their attitude was that these RULES were cast in stone and were part of Boots policy and it was more than their jobs were worth to vary. Awful. Unkind. Unprofessional. Both the Manager and Pharmacist seemed to me to be behaving like untrained automaton counter staff rather than trained professionals integral to the NHS. In the end I went to an independent chemist in another town with an intelligent and sensitive pharmacist who didn't require me to jump through random bureaucratic hoops to access urgent medication. Terrible small town branch of Boots! Avoid if you can.

Our local Boots is the best. The staff are just great and although it is only small they have good stock and will always order things in for the next day.

Im beyond disgusted that YET AGAIN the Boots pharmacy in Robertsbridge is closed without warning. This has left us stranded without important medication, and no way to get it for two days. This is frankly unnacceptable and could put peoples health at risk. Sort it out.
