I have already told all my engaged friends this but it is worth telling everyone with ears that hiring a wedding planner/stylist is the first thing that I would now recommend having recently gotten married. Maria absolutely transformed not only our wedding but the entire experience of planning it. I felt like I had a best friend along the entire way that was always on my wavelength to bounce ideas of off and get excited (with the added bonus that it would then all magically by sorted and amazing on the day). Maria made the whole experience feel relaxed, creative and, most of all, fun. We worked extensively with Maria and throughout the whole time I felt as if we were her only clients - that's how much attention she paid to the details. Her emails and communications were always professional, friendly and kind. Most importantly of all, she didn't just take my onslaught of ideas and implement them - she transformed them, thought them through with her own ideas and experience and made it all work better than I could have ever hoped within our set budget. We also dealt with some slow or unresponsive suppliers who Maria really helped us with. From the start, she put us at ease about how to deal with this. Without her, I would have had about a hundred panic attacks. When it came down to the wire, Maria stepped in and sorted the entire situation in the exact way we needed at a time of great stress for us. She knew our vision so well that I trusted her completely to communicate this on our behalf. Often times I felt amazed by just how much it felt like she was reading my mind, when solving things that were not quite right. As I danced on the dancefloor the night of the wedding, I thought to myself "wow everything was perfect and everything was so worth it". I wouldn't have changed a thing. Maria, thank you for everything!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't sing your praises high enough. You are so phenomenal at what you do and I am rooting for you in all that you do

Hiring Maria was probably the best decision I made. She took all the stress out of the last few weeks and the morning of the wedding. She thought of elements of the decor and set up that I hadn't even considered and made sure everything ran smoothly and stress free on the day. Everything looked perfect. Would 100% recommend!

Living abroad, we quickly decided it would be difficult to bring the wedding of our dreams back home in the UK to life by ourselves. Especially since the venue we booked, the beautiful Wyresdale Park in the Lancashire countryside is a blank canvas requiring you to hire and liaise with most of your own suppliers. This is where Maria came in. Choosing to work with Maria was absolutely the best decision we made during the whole wedding planning process. From the initial introduction call, through all the concepts, and all the way up to decorating the venue for us on the day, Maria was just fantastic in all aspects! Using her great network of suppliers, she really made our day exactly how we wanted it, and it definitely wouldnt have been the same without her. We honestly can not recommend Maria enough!

Working alongside Maria was without a doubt the best decision we made for our wedding day! Not only did Maria create the most stunning design features and bring my ideas to life, she completely transformed my mindset in the build up to the wedding. Rather than being stressed and worried of how much there was to do, I knew I could completely rely on Maria to pull it all together. She worked tirelessly in the build up to the wedding and then setting up the day before ensuring no detail was overlooked. Our venue looked absolutely stunning with Marias styling, but most importantly didnt look like every other wedding held there. Maria had so many wonderful ideas, invaluable contacts with other suppliers and was on hand to offer any advice and answer questions. She was incredibly organised, juggling countless aspects of the day but she pulled it all together seemlessly. Maria was very fair with her prices and had a huge array of beautiful items for hire at reasonable costs. It was very refreshing to work with a wedding supplier who you didnt feel was trying to squeeze every possible penny out of you. I would recommend Maria to anyone and in fact have already passed on her details to a friend getting married next year! Altogether I couldnt fault the service Maria offered and she was absolutely lovely to work with and chat to about all aspects of the wedding.

I feel absolutely honoured to have been the first wedding that Maria of Detail Event Styling has organised, planned, coordinated and mastered as a business. Maria is a talented, experienced and professional events organiser who has worked in the industry for over 10 years and this was evident in everything she did. Within the 18 months we worked together, she not only helped me plan and design my wedding but made my dream come alive. I told her everything that I wanted in a wedding and Maria made this happen. I instantly felt at complete ease, she took all the stress out of planning the wedding and took it on with such confidence and enthusiasm. Nothing was ever too much for her to deal with. She put up with many a late night phone call off me and constant messages and questions. She is quite simply an absolute professional and expert in what she does. There is no way I could have planned my wedding without Maria by my side. I have such a hectic life that it simply would not have been possible. I feel that everyone who is planning a wedding needs a wedding planner and coordinator. Not only did she help me plan and was constantly there leading up to the wedding but 2 days before she was on her hands and knees cleaning our venue (we got married in an old barn) she was there on the day co ordinating, seeing to stuff behind the scenes that we did not even know about until later! (We had problems with accommodation for our guests) the fact that all this was going on behind the scenes and my husband and I were left to enjoy our day shows how truly amazing she is. She made sure guests were well catered for, timings went to plan, guests were in the right place at the right times. It couldnt have run any smoother and that is down to Maria. Anyone who is hiring a venue where you need all outside, independent providers, such as outside caterers, bar staff, venue styling, needs a wedding planner to be able to liase with all these companies as it is far too much work for one person to plan on their own and can be so stressful. Maria took all the stress out of planning for me so I was able to enjoy my day stress free and I cannot thank her enough for that. I can always look back on my wedding day and think it went amazingly well, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Maria, you are just amazing. Not only fantastic at your job but an amazing, caring person who puts your clients at the heart of everything you do. If you are thinking of hiring a wedding planner, dont think about it just do it and hire Maria and it will be the best money youve ever spent. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU so so much.
