    Rivington Unitarian Chapel in Rivington's village centre is an active place of Unitarian worship. According to Wikipedia the chapel was established in 1703, although its origins date reportedly reach back about thirty years prior. The chapel is a designated Grade II listed building and buildings adjacent to it are occupied by Rivington Village Green Tea Rooms. On the other side of the tea rooms is an enclosed lawn purposed for contemplation.
