The worst company I've been forced to use. Didn't receive ground rent invoice or a reminder, was charged a 45 admin fee which when questioned over the phone, was told that this fee was to cover the extra administration cost caused by having to chase up payment. No chasing up was done, no letter, no phone call, only an automated email that went into my junk, which in no way constitutes the value of 45! When asked if there was a way to set up a regular automated payment to save any future issues, I was told that this is not an option, and stated their reasoning for this being that in the past, people have set the standing orders up to the wrong account, which is a ridiculous excuse to able them to force honest people into paying unnecessary charges. Unlike me, if you are in control of the company that manages your ground rent, then do NOT choose Freehold Managers PLC! Their glittering google reviews speak volumes to what a dishonest and badly run company they are, especially with their archaic systems processes that are only in place to rip people off!

Absolutely shocking service, over a month ago i noticed i was over paying my ground rent, asked for it to be refunded back and still waiting for it, sent numerous emails and called and still nothing.

They lied to me telling me my freehold purchase price had been "reduced for 4 weeks only" to try to get me to buy it. I have never received a letter showing the higher price both letters showed the "reduced" price. I will buy the freehold if and when I'm ready don't lie to me.

I am struggling to sell my property due to the lease hold, I had to pay 150 to get a quote from Freehold Managers to see how much it would cost to purchase the freehold. They came back with 13000 plus 525 and solicitors fees, there is 102 years on the lease. I explained that was too much so they said come back with another numbers, they are willing to take 100 off the 13000, 0.75% they came down. I paid more than that to find out how much it would cost. Absolutely robbing and disgusting response.
