Visited RAF Thurleigh museum today. I was very impressed with the militaria on display as I'm a keen collector too. It was nice and peaceful atmosphere when visiting the volunteers are very warm and welcoming they also offer food and drink free of charge which was quite nice, I found it interesting also the museum is in the small arm ammunition store.

Wonderful museum about the 306th Bomb Group (United States 8th Air Force), which was stationed here (RAF Thurleigh) during World War II. It also covers what life was like for local citizens during the war. There's a ton of information and artifacts, definitely worth the visit!
