Fond memories - my Grandma Eileen Hatch used to run the Church Choir in the 70s/80s (she made our vestments too and a wardrobe to hang them in!) and she also did lots of fundraising activities, from running the 100 club to setting up a souvenir stand, there were bookmarks, notepads etc embossed with pictures of the church. I was christened here too by Rev Swabey. (sp?) I especially remember the Christmas services, so atmospheric. Sadly she and my Granddad Brian passed away in 1989/90. The last time I visited when passing through, about 10 years ago, I saw one of her embroidered kneelers in a pew. I think it was commemorating the wedding of Charles and Diana. I was so happy it was still in use! Lovely to see these pictures, thank you for sharing them.
