    Rubbish experience at the Ripon branch. We went in yesterday to ask if they could fit a carpet before Christmas, they said they had a free day on the 22nd and we could be measured in the morning. To be on the safe side we asked if we could reserve a slot to be on the safe side as we were clearly buying a carpet from them as we have done many times. Told that we couldnt reserve a slot but the diary was free that day, explained the property was being ket to a family and we needed it before 3rd Jan, no problem, get measured quickly and have the carpet fitted on the 22nd. Carpet was measured this morning, popped in as agreed to order carpet, lady was pretty unhelpful, gave incorrect info and then advised we wouldnt get fitted until mid Jan, I was pretty confused given the conversation with the same lady yesterday. These mistakes do happen however there is no excuse for poor customer service, this is a mistake and a very stupid system on their part - and the customer response was literally a verbal shrug. Times are difficult for businesses at the moment and companies like this with such poor customer skills who dont work with customers to reach any sort of resolution deserve to lose business. I imagine their response to my review will be a defensive one. Could I suggest you get the lady serving us some customer service training - its not fair on her to not be equipped to deal with complaints arising from a very ineffective system.
