        3 phone calls, two phone messages not answered. Went to visit the estate agent in person. The notice in the door said 'open'. The door was locked and nobody was there.

        I would not recommend this letting agent. The flat I let from them was a poor state. I was informed during the viewing that the damp had been resolved and it was just a cosmetic issue. The flat was painted the morning before I moved in to cover this up. I was in the tenancy 3 months and the mould and damp issues continued to the extent I considered environmental health and could not live in the property without feeling ill. It was agreed I could leave my tenancy early but no compensation was forthcoming. I should also state Sherringtons themselves did not inspect the property once during this time, and were not forthcoming in rectifying issues.
