Hutchinsons Butchers

Visited this small butchers tucked away in Ripley today and would highly recommend going. The staff were brilliant and very welcoming. Would recommend trying the pies and a great selection of meats on display. Will be returning.

This place has just been nominated for an award, and it's not difficult to see why. The pies, pasties and sausage rolls are top quality as is the meat. The bloke who owns it is chatty and good- humoured, and was happy to bag 4 chicken fillets up in separate bags. Compare and contrast this with Elite Meats in Starbeck, who wanted to charge me 20p for a carrier! I'm a Proud Yorkshireman - I'd rather accidentally drop all my purchases into the gutter than part with 20p I don't need to!

Found this butchers while on a driving holiday and so glad we did! Came away with two bagfulls of meat, just eaten inch thick lamb chops and almost cried when finished. Cant wait for steak night tomorrow! If you are in the area.....shop here

Had some wonderful parmos from here on Sunday. Freshly made and absolutely delicious. Very helpful and friendly staff. Thank you for opening on a Sunday.
