St Elmo Care Home Ringwood

My personal experience with the home has always been fantastic, the home is always kept to a high Standard. The staff are kind hearted and perfessional.

My father was lucky enough to be in the care of the staff at St Elmo for his final few months. As he got to the end of his journey with Alzheimer's trying to care for him at home became too much. As with any loved one you worry about him moving into the care of someone else. I have to say with St Elmo's, we needn't of worried. Lesley and her staff are amazing, the care, dedication, respect and time they gave dad was wonderful and always professional. Dad loved his time with them. St Elmo just feels homely, it has a lovely feel about it from the moment you walk in through the door. It is clean, but not clinical (in a good way), rooms are practical and comfortable, and can be personalised to a sensible level. Dad always enjoyed his food with them (especially his deserts). The day room is open and airy (especially in the summer) and there plenty for residents to do. But beyond this the additional effort the staff go to, to keep family updated and appraised of how their residents spend their time was wonderful, especially when you throw in the ever changes regulation around COVID and keeping all their residents safe.
