Calm Amongst The Chaos

I've sadly been let down by Calm Amongst the Chaos. While Frances and the team were perfectly polite and welcoming during the two face to face meetings we had I'm disappointed with the lack of communication surrounding the plans for my wedding dress. We came in with pictures, ideas and a deposit back in the summer and we agreed that as there was over a year until the wedding we would meet up again closer to Christmas to start the ball rolling. I had not heard anything for a few months and as it is now November I emailed and asked what dates they could fit me in for the next meeting. The response I received stated that Calm Amongst the Chaos had "changed direction" and were no longer going to be making bespoke dresses or occasion wear of any kind. I am lucky that we started planning this well in advance so I have plenty of time to find a replacement but I do hope there are no other brides left disappointed with less time on their hands. Frances has offered to pay back our deposit in full but it's a real shame that a local business like this with such nice ideas missed the mark.

I absolutely love the clothes that Fran and her team make. They are always really friendly whenever I order anything. They have even made me items in different fabrics available on my request. I am yet to visit the shop in person, but their website is fab and so is the Instagram. If you like small batch, interesting, quirky clothes then this is the shop for you. Cant fault it!!
