Moody Cow Farm Shop

This is a place full of such promise, lots of enthusiasm and some great products. I can't give five stars because the opening hours are rather unusual, the door is hard to find and rather uninviting, and the fresh veggies could do with more turnover... but don't be put off there are some tempting items to enjoy... eg. the Raspberry Croissants and Camembert Sourdough. I do hope the Pet food retailer gets permission to use the same premises it will bring more footfall and that will help MC develop the range on offer and maybe regularise their opening hours.

Frustratingly drove out of our way to visit this farm shop (within opening hours) to find it closed. Very disappointing that their website is incorrect on its timings.

Called in just for a cup of coffee, waited to be seated, requested my coffee after asking if it was ok just to have a cup of coffee and nothing to eat, found a sofa in the corner and sat, and sat, and sat, eventually asked a waitron clearing tables if I should go up to the counter to collect my order , was told it would be brought to me, sat down and waited, and waited and waited after twenty five minutes of waiting I left - not impressed at all

The smoked bacon was delicious the chap who served us was helpful and friendly highly recommend well worth a visit.
