        What a lovely place ! Beautiful surroundings, spotless rooms , comfy bed and impeccable service. Lorraine was very welcoming and kind. In the morning she prepared yummy breakfast which sets you for the day. If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely be staying at the Shimmerings. Thank you Lorraine for your hospitality :) Rooms: Beautiful, clean , comfy

        Fabulous accommodation. Breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day and Lorraine (owner) was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very comfortable. An additional bonus was that you could bring food back in the evenings to eat either in the breakfast room or in the back garden overlooking the lake. Highly recommend!
