This review is in response to the Equalizers review. This sounds very much like an installation issue on your own part. Blaming BMW because you cant drive properly doesnt mean the car is the issue. I think youd find if you had installed the heater correctly then it would have worked much better than your Russian clone heater.

Eberspacher is an excellent product however the manufacturer does not have sufficient Service Support in the UK, I have been told I will have to wait six weeks for a service engineer. My diesel heater is currently not working and requires a new screen in the unit, it is a relatively easy routine job. I am writing to Eberspacher in Germany as I do not believe they are aware of what is going on in the UK. I would suggest if you are selecting a product for a boat speak with Webasto they seem to offer a much better Service Network. Very frustrating as we have been waiting three weeks and the dealer has said they will call us, we have chased them and they now say 12th September. I know the Sales Director at Fairline Boats and I will be passing on my experience as they need the back up for their products. Most disappointing. Regards A.Watts

THE EQUALISER
After purchasing an ebespacher from PF Jones 14 months ago , it never worked correctly from day one , so travelled back to Manchester at my expense , to give them opportunity to put right , still same fault heater would shut down and turn off , so ended up going to Preston electrical, they had van full day yet again at my expense, eber UK blamed Germany, Germany said its down to eber UK, all the while heater STILL just shut down , eber would not refund me any money, so I accepted a new heater 6 months down the line , and guess what same fault, would not stay on all night woke up cold , this is terrible customer service for such an expensive heater , 14 months this fiasco carried on, eventually a rival company got wind of my situation Planar / Autoterm, and have installed one of their heater FREE of Charge so I would stay well clear of Eberspacher UK and go for a Planar / Autoterm heater much quieter and certainly more reliable and customer service is outstanding AVOID EBERSPACHER AT ALL COSTS !!!

I would suggest if you are selecting a product for a boat speak with Webasto they seem to offer a much better Service Network.
