        The airport is trying hard but why are the moving walk-ways not working? We are in our 70's and although we are not disabled, we did not see anyone who might help us with our luggage over the substantial distance to the railway station. Working walkways would have helped.

        I'm frustrated with the audacity, lack of leeway and situational sense from the train guard. I have an advance ticket from Manchester to Nottingham with changes in between at 9:17. The 9:17 train was cancelled, so I asked the ticket man in reception what I can do. He said to board the next train which was 8:48. So I do this and see the train guard next to the doors. I tell her my situation and she refuses to board me because I have to board the train with the departing time closest to the cancelled train, so 9:07. Unless I buy a new single ticket from her! That is a difference of 19 minutes! Ridiculous judgement call from her!
