My very first job 58+ years ago was fairly briefly in sales and I seem to recall that then if signage indicated a price then we were obliged to honour that price.
We were under call to gate and as my mobility is restricted it takes me longer to reach my destination so we hadn't time to seek a manager and had to leave our selection.
As a result I didn't have water to take my painkillers (my latte drunk earlier was too hot as it would have melted the capsule which makes me nauseous).
Not a good start to our holiday - cheers Boots !
