Foundry Healthcare Lewes - Anchor Field

Still in the process of trying to get a simple face to face appointment for my child. Even if you get a phone appointment, there's no guarantee you will actually receive the call. I called 111 today to get a second phone appointment for today, after the first one didn't happen and still haven't received it. I took my child to Lewes hospital but they don't do non emergencies so to get a simple diagnosis is seemingly impossible. They don't offer appointments in advance. They simply say they have nothing and to call in the morning when you have to wait behind about 50 other callers, even if you phone at 8.30 on the dot. Another great example of our non existent healthcare system.

Hard to rate a public health care facility with merit. But as free healthcare goes it does the job. Don't complain.

Always friendly receptionists over the phone or in person and I haven't had any problems with any of the doctors over 7 years of being with this surgery, Very peaceful and calm waiting room albeit different now because of the Covid, they have managed extremley well from a patients point of view and I am sure they have been rushed off their feet and not had time for themselves lately. The only small negative i have is the new telephone system as it is being merged as one with a couple of the Lewes surgeries now which I don't feel comfortable with the distupted community feel that once was seems to be wandering off with the new developments and new surgery in Lewes being built but nothing lasts forever so we will see how it turns out. I very grateful to the Ringmer surgery staff and the Doctors they are all great.
