N Thomas Painting & Decorating

I got in touch for a quote, that part was quick, we decided to hire Nick, he was supposed to paint on the Wednesday and Thursday, he cancelled at the last minute for Wednesday because he realised it was actually half term?? Got to our on the Thursday and finished the whole job in one go. He told me he only uses Dulux paint but the quality is certainly not Dulux, it comes off when you try and wipe the wall. He then left a huge white paint stain on my carpet, he kept saying he would come back and clean it up, over 3 weeks later and he has still not bothered. Getting a reply out of him is a nightmare, have to send a few messages before he responds, the same with trying to get an invoice from him, took ages and then it was not a proper invoice, just a write up on an email, no company logo. So I do not recommend him at all, been a stressful time having to deal with him. I now need to get my carpet cleaned and will be sending him the bill. Service: Interior painting

Nick has just done a fantastic job for me painting a bedroom, including a fair amount of preparation that was needed. He was very professional, polite, pleasant to have around, was good with communications, and extremely clean and tidy - left the room spotless and ready to move back into, unheard of in my experience. Would highly recommend Nick. Courteous, flexible and good workmanship. Nick provided a quote remotely and was very flexible in accommodating our requirements; heavily pregnant and moving into the area so had a very short window for the work to be completed. Thanks Nick and team for your work and good communication throughout, it has made such a difference to our new home!

Wife had N Thomas Painting & Decorating in to redo a couple of rooms in our home over the summer to brighten the place up. They did a great job, really great at what they do. Have had decorators and other tradesmen in the past who are a bit unreliable but cant say this for Nick. Arrived on time and always cleared up afterwards.
