Nice location. Need more payment points & better direction signs for station and shopping street.

This car park is very close to the Rickmansworth tube station that provides the Metropolitan Line and Chiltern railways services. The cost of parking has gone up in the last year or two from 3.10 to 4.20 for all day parking. It's cheaper on the weekends, 2. Hourly parking does not seem possible, it's the full day or nothing. Recently they installed ticket machines that support cards, they are very slow at connecting and sometimes stop working with no clear error handling. This can be a real pain when your trying to catch the morning train. They take a while to fix them too, this morning the bottom machine was not working again as per yesterday. It's a very spacious car park with no trouble finding a park on the lower floors later in the morning on weekdays. The bay size is usual UK dimensions, quite small but workable. Down in the bowels you get kids practising their wheelies and people working on their cars for some reason. Unfortunately the exit stairs are not kept clean. The exit can be quite tricky, a hard right hand turn right after a ramp with tall curbs has claimed many rims including ours. Remember to swing wide and let the sensors do the work rather than scratch up those nice wheels of yours. 3 stars for location and convenience.
