I have now been for a massage several times and I can honestly say it's the best massage I've ever had. The shop is lovely and clean. Never felt as relaxed when leaving thank you.

I have been in two minds about writing this review but decided to for two reasons, 1) for hope that the owner checks these reviews and will take on this feedback to strengthen her business 2) so others either know what they may be in for/what to avoid. The massages are quite pricey, at 49 for an hour I was expecting a top class service and massage. Unfortunately, I believe an unqualified (but lovely) receptionist carried out my massage due to double booking perhaps?! It was far from relaxing and I had to bring it to a stop after 10 minutes as it was clear the (lovely) lady did not have a clue how to give a massage. She was trying to get me to carry on with it but after I firmly told her I felt uncomfortable and wanted to redress she left the room. In their defence, I was offered another masseuse but politely declined due to fear of having another poor massage and therefore another awkward conversation. It was a contentious issue re the refund but eventually I got it in full and I was grateful for the professionalism of this. I felt terrible as I left, worrying I had hurt my masseuses feelings but equally carrying my own frustration that I could have potentially wasted a lot of money which didnt reflect the service advertised. I hope the owner offers future clients more transparency and ensures all staff members work within their competencies. I hope that in the future, if changes are made, I can revisit and write a lovely review as the I could tell the staff were trying their best to keep this business afloat - albeit in quite a dishonest way.
