My partner and I were recommended Richard John by our estate agent, when buying our first home. What most say is a stressful life event was made so easy for us. Richard and Julie explained everything in simple terms and answered all questions in a very timely manner. Such a professional and trust worthy company. 100% recommend and will definitely be clients again in the future.

Very unprofessional and a high staff turnover made a quick procedure into a very long and stressful process.

I agree with Nikhil's 1 star rating below. As first time buyers a few years ago, a conveyancer at this firm called Archer's really underwhelmed. Ok, he got us to the finishing line in time to be fair - but wasnt forthcoming with documentation etc. Im not sure whether its normal for purchasers not to be shown the various searches and deeds etc until ready to execute - but that was Archer's position. Im sorry, but buying a house I certainly want to see information as you gather it to make my own interpretations and inform my decisions etc. It seemed this was too much for Archer Rusby, it rendered us very passive and when youre spending your life savings thats not a reasonable position, this naturally led to some testing discussions with them. I believe some conveyancers have portals where they store all the information gathered so you can access it real time. Ill be doing this in future. I also expected a little more insight and advice than 'everythings fine'. Ok, thats a tad exageration, they did offer some snippets of insight into restrictive covenants, local planning apps etc, but it was all very perfunctory and dismissive of questioning and led to my concerns wherby i then became certain i wanted to see the materials myself.
