Swale Veterinary Surgery

I was staying in Reeth for a few days and my young dog developed a limp which I was worried about. I rang the surgery and the receptionist was so helpful and sorted an appt for that very day in their little part time surgery in Reeth itself. The vet called Linda was very reassuring and gave my little dog a thorough examination. Thankfully there was no serious problem and she gave appropriate medication. I was extremely happy and grateful. od

Very pricey. One of the vets is lovely, but the receptionists are quite rude and not very welcoming. I had to stand and wait 5-10 minutes to be charged for a 2 minute checkup/consultation with the vet. When I was about to leave after waiting and not being seen to I felt as though they were looking at me like I was trying to rob the place. They dont care about pets. Only farm animals & big . Really need a decent vet around here that actually cares for the animals. This is not the first bad experience I have had with Swale vets. I could go on and on.

If i could give No stars I would !!! , have been with this vets for my 3 dogs for years and out of the blue my dogs are no longer registered , was told I was sent a letter to explain why yet no letter ever arrived , to be honest I wouldn't recommend this vets to anyone they tell you they've sent out letters and when you tell them they haven't you basically get told tough sh1t deal with it , p1ss poor customer service supposed to be there to help. Clearly my dogs aren't important to them and I wasn't taking them in enough for them to justify them being registered there. Pathetic ill go elsewhere hopefully the next place I register will be a bit more customer friendly.
