Such a hidden gem. Although we haved loved in Richmond for well over 10 years we had never actually been to the museum. What we missed out on was a place to find out about the local area through the ages. Right back to 1066 to present day. I personally like seeing photos of buildings that you can still see today, being able to see the actual history of the building makes it come alive. So don't miss this hidden gem just off Frenchgate or if you come the other way just turn left at Calvert's Carpets.
