From the moment we met Joel at a wedding fayre I knew he was the photographer for us- his professionalism care and knowledge shines through and on the day of the wedding he made us all feel relaxed and at ease. We opted for a pre wedding shoot too which Im so glad we did as it made the photos on the day of wedding that little more easy to do! Joel and Sophie have been so amazing to work with, so efficient and nothing is too much trouble. The end result of our photos are absolutely amazing, Joel captured everything perfectly and we will treasure the memories forever. We had the absolute pleasure of having Joel as our wedding photographer in July 2022. Joel stepped in and saved our day at the last minute after our previous photographer cancelled. This was the best thing that could have happened to us and we think it was meant to be! Joel made us feel relaxed and helped to make our day truly the best day ever. All our guests commented on how fantastic he was, making them feel at ease as well. The wedding photos speak for themselves and we would whole heartedly recommend Joel to any couple looking for a creative, natural, fun and all round awesome wedding photographer!

Joel is not only an incredible photography but such a wonderful person to have around on your big day! Im not a fan of getting my picture taken at the best of times so I was a little nervous about having a full day of a cameras. But even from the first zoom meeting, Joel completely put us at ease. On the big day he fit seamlessly in and just felt like an extra member of our wedding party, providing us with lots of laughs, advice and moments just to take it all in. Even better we have the most stunning pictures to look back on. He managed to capture the day perfectly. I cant put into words how grateful we are to Joel and his wife Sophie for everything. I would 100% recommend them.

Joel was amazing in every way. He works alongside his wife Sophie and together they were very easy to work with and their communication is great. On the day of the wedding Joel helped keep us grounded and was an expert at guiding us through the day. He really knows what he's doing and the images he's produced are wonderful. My wife and I would defintely recommend Joel Skingle for your wedding photography. In the run up to the wedding, Joel was very organised and contactable over email, WhatsApp and Zoom calls to talk through the arrangements of the day, to ensure all of the important moments would be captured. He was friendly, very polite and approachable all throughout the lead up to the wedding and on the wedding day itself. He was very generous with his time before the wedding to help advise on the running order of the day, having been involved in the process so many times. On the wedding day itself, Joel was great at putting everyone at ease, had great banter but most importantly helped capture the essence of the day with the most beautiful photographs. We are over the moon with our wedding photos, both the arranged photos of family and friends but more importantly the candid shots of my wife and I, as well as our family and friends enjoying the experience of the day. Joel having worked at the venue before was an asset as he knew how to get the most out of the beautiful locations of the venue and I know he has worked at the majority of the popular wedding venues in the North-East and Yorkshire. I would not hesitate to book Joel as your wedding photographer and his work is stunning.
