Rang to get an emergency appointment as visiting a relative and have an abcess which needs treated, initially was told I could get seen today, then after a short discussion of problem was informed can't be seen today, but, to ring back tomorrow after 10.30, Would be appreciable if facts were consistent!

All the staff except the receptionist who spoke to my wife today have been amazing. My wife rang to make an appointment wherein the receptionist insisted that they did not have a patient by her name registered at the practice. She has been a patient at this practice since she was child. Rather than listening to my wife, and trying to solve the issue, she continued to take a confrontational and rude tone, repeatedly telling my wife that she was not on record. At this point my wife had been brought to tears by the unpleasant way in which she was being spoken to and the implication that she was lying or an idiot. My wife explained that she had already contacted the practice twice that week and that both times she had existed on record. After the receptionist finally spoke to someone else, it turned out that they had spelt her surname wrong in the system. The receptionist did not apologise for this mistake or seem to care at all that she had made my wife cry. The manner of the receptionist was extremely arrogant and rude. No attempt whatsoever to help, just repeatedly telling my wife that "we don't have a patient by that name at our practice". No solutions to the problem offered, it just seemed that she wanted to get her off the phone. Such a shame as my wife has always felt very welcome and been very impressed by the treatment she has received previously. As someone who also works with the public, it is not difficult to be patient and caring.

I cant rate this place highly enough. Every member of staff there is friendly, welcoming and empathetic towards a rather nervous patient. In particular, the hygienist Jess was incredibly caring, did a fantastic job with my teeth and with calming my nerves, and she even remembered the particulars of my anxiety trigger points on my second visit. I hope to never have to find another dentists again!
