Stayed here for one night as our original bed and breakfast had booked our room out to someone else. But fate intervened. We had a lovely stay . Bright clean rooms, Plenty of choice at breakfast and welcoming hosts. Would definately stay here again.

I stayed for 1 night recently at Pottergate Guest House. The Hostess was very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area, bars / restaurants and popular walks. The accomodation was of a good standard, clean, tidy, well furnished bedroom with modern en suite. I think the walls had been recently painted which unfortunately gave off a strong smell of paint and caused a mild headache as a result, but I can look past this. The paint smell was just bad timing on my part, had I of had my family with me I would have had to request a change of room. The breakfast was very nice with various options on the menu, I went for the full English, and helped myself to some natural yoghurt and fruit. Cereals were also an option. Overall, a lovely cosy friendly little B&B conveniently situated in Richmond, North Yorkshire.
