    Best charging provider out there!

My review of Gridserve is based on my experience (not the cost). I recently rented an EV during my vacation to UK. As an International traveller, I was not sure how the charging would work. In most cases, my uncertainty was well founded. Most charging points were restricted or required to use mobile phone to activate (which was a hassle for me due to my international roaming, which was spotty at best). GridServe, on the other hand, worked seamlessly for me. Just plug in, present my card and I was done. I also did not have to wait in queue. Every time I drove up, I could start charging instantly.

Not sure about other parts of the country but my experience with Gridserve in the M6/M5 corridor has been a complete nightmare. There has been well under a 50-50 chance of there being a working chadamo connection. Today the whole network from Burton-In Kendal to Penrith (3 locations 12 devices) was out (not sure about Southwaite. Previous experience is of no working devices between Knutsford and Strensham inclusive.

So at the start of the year Gridserve charged 29pence per KWH and then it went up to 39p and now recently June 2022 its topped 48p. Yes the long suffering EV own has to put up with queues at chargers, unreliability issues with said devices and not pricing of electricity which means that there's not really any significant cost of ownership advantages to make up for inconvenience of ownership

Interview with HOP was a joke. Apparently having a relevant experience is a no no to get a job.
