I've always had a soft spot for classic cars , owning a Morris minor as a first car at seventeen and more recently a jaguar xk150 with a fair few in-between..having a modest income my formula is a loan from the bank,buy a beautiful car then when I come to sell it I hope the value has increased by at least the interest I have been charged..this way in my reckoning I have saved some money I would otherwise not have put aside and enjoyed myself owning and driving a beautiful car at the same time...the problem for me is when it comes to selling the dream car because I've now fallen for another make or model...sadly I'm no car salesman so when I bumped into John Tomlin at beauliea auto jumble several years ago and discovered historics classic car auctions I breathed a massive sigh of relief...I've now sold 4 of my cars through the historics auction platform and I find them superb.. firstly and foremost they work really hard for me at the sale to get the results I need,I find them flexible in respect of pulling out all the stops to get the sale over the line..the catalogue is I feel second to none as are the auction venues...the whole process runs smoothly from appraisal to getting the car photographed and in the catalogue and fortunately for me having my car sold on every occasion with money transferred into my bank account soon after the auction...a five star outfit in my opinion and a service I would definitely recommend

Shocking. Do not use! Provisional bid and finally got a call at 8.45pm with a message left of speak in the morning. Went ahead and allegedly sold elsewhere by 8.30am on Sunday. Just lies and when questioned was met with a rude and unprofessional response. Achieved terrible results for sellers and lie to the bidders. Everything bad about traditional auctions.
