    Absolutely diabolical garbage company... 2hours plus to answer phone under both emergency and main policy. They have a claims handling company who deals with the claims and so could not care less, just want your money; 400+ per annum for diddly squat after 15years no-claims. My experience - Mains water leak 990ltrs per hour - eventually, after protracted messing around sent wrong type of plumber under emergency policy who couldn't trace leak. Main policy - I had 4 weeks of turning water off and on at boundary main to minimise loss of water - bucket showers, shave and XXXX. Ended up sorting the mess out myself at my cost for a new water main. Total lot of WXXXXXS who don't deserve to make a penny and have no concept whatsoever of customer service - all glossy brochure front and no substance. If I could give them minus stars it would be -5 STARS. Customer service manager is a joke, no apology to retain custom or discussion when I complained to the claims company copying 3XD in - must have more than one brick short of a full load...! Adios... 3XD hope you have the same experience in your insured lives. You've missed out on 4500+ potential cutomers in our organisation through recommendation had you dealt with the claim professionally and ethically.

    Shocking!!! We have now been without hot water and heating for 5 days over the festive period! The engineer lightly tapped on our door and walked away after 4 seconds (all on cctv) he gave us no chance at all to know he was there, didnt call us or ring the doorbell or letterbox, so because we missed this visit we are now being penalised and told we will have to wait as long as it takes as its us who missed the visit. We have put complaints in and heard nothing back. Rang countless times only to be keep reminded of the fact it was us who missed the visit, not the fact the engineer couldnt be bothered to actually knock on the door properly (we live in a big house) and give us a chance to get our heating and hot water back on! Totally unfair, shoddy and terrible service! I have been with 3xd many years and I definitely will not be renewing!

    Recently called to update a Landlords Policy, the call was answered within 10 seconds without the need to go through an automated service which I have experienced with other companies and it can take several minutes before you get to speak to someone. My enquiry was dealt with swiftly and efficiently.
