A big thank you to Ashton Lodge Country House for allowing me to give my partner her dream proposal. Also, a special shoutout to Rebecca who went above and beyond to make sure everything went successfully. Her insights, willingness to help and all-round expertise allowed the day to run perfectly. I cannot recommend the venue and staff enough to anyone who's looking for a professional and friendly experience in a stunning location.

We were disappointed with our very small room an very tiny shower room I had to stretch up for ceiling light switch. my hubby was unable to have a shower.bed to low also also a struggle.

I Went to a wedding yesterday which was fantastic.what a lovely place food was great nothing was to much Trouble for the staff.the wedding day planner lady was brilliant she was professional and kept you up dated every step of the way .would recommend well done

Amazing venue to work with. Nothing was too much trouble. Main feedback from my guests: 1. The venue is beautiful and in a gorgeous location. 2. The food was the best food that they have ever had at a wedding. 3. The day ran really smoothly without any fuss, making it a really enjoyable experience. I would recommend having your wedding at Ashton Lodge - we were so lucky in that the venue underwent lovely refurbishments (fresh paint, updated bedrooms, beautiful hanging fixtures in the marquee, new entrance) whilst we were planning. There's lots of space to allow your guests to relax outside, in the lounge, or on the dance floor (get Andy Pender DJ - he's the best!). My biggest tip would be to ask for the BBQ for the evening food - I thought it was really good value for money as the servings were really generous and my evening guests really appreciated having a proper meal, not just 'bits and bobs' as some weddings put on. Brides - start getting reading in the bridal suite downstairs with your bridesmaids but then head up to the beautiful honeymoon suite to put your dress on and have a few moments of peace before doing a first look with your bridesmaids. The room is bigger and brighter which makes for gorgeous pictures!
