The Pheasant

We went to the pheasant on Sunday day for my uncles 70th birthday seven of us . The waitresses and serving staff were very friendly and helpful however the owner was very rude wandering around not really doing anything other than making the staff feel uncomfortable. He came to our table once and that was to tell my uncle that he couldn't wear a cap in his restaurant. This was done in front of the whole restaurant instead of quietly and discreetly telling my uncle privately and professionally. The manager needs to learn some manners it was quite ironic that all his staff wore smart uniform snd he was telling people what they couldn't wear as he was the scruffiest person in the whole pub dirty heads scruffy polo shirt hanging out at the back and dirty trainers. What a disgrace for someone who had just humiliated a customer who incidentally was to go on and pay his staff over 200 for our bill. Which leads me on to some pretty standard food . The owner would be better off getting rid of his microwaves I'm kitchen and getting in there and cooking some properly cooked food . All the veg was undercooked the desserts are microwaved the meat on Sunday lunch is processed packet slices . Not one person in this establishment came and asked if everything was OK not once an owner wandering around criticising caps wow! The rudist owner I have ever met don't go here rude overpriced microwaved rubbish !!
