The Boot Inn

Called in for lunch on my daughters recommendation and we weren't disappointed. What's not to like from the Boot bitter to the crisp Chardonnay and the sea bass. Loved every bit of it and will definitely be back again. Next time I'm taking a jug though to bring some beer back. Well that was our first visit been today had the same main and the difference was shocking. 40 minutes wait and it wasn't a patch on our previous visit. Can't explain it.

Wonderful meal had by my family and I on Sunday. Chloe was exceptional in serving us our Sunday dinners efficiently and with a smile. She was interested in our children and very pleasant. I have been coming to The Boot for many years and i have to say Sunday was one of our very best experiences. One of my observations historically is when your food arrives and then sauces and condiments can take 5-6 mins to arrive after that. This allows food to maybe go cold. We requested the sauces with Chloe upon order and sure enough it arrived with our main course. A little thing that made a big different to our dining experience. The food was, of course excellent!

Vegetarian options: Full vegan breakfast. Parking: Both on the street and in the rear of the property. Dietary restrictions: Both vegan and non dairy ( and they have oatly milk - the best!!)

Rooms: A nice sized room let down by the provision of only a single chair despite there being plenty of room for 2. Food & drinks: Excellent breakfast. Good beer in the pub to accompany a pleasant dinner.
