Lovely place. Staff are friendly and welcoming and treat my Nan with respect and dignity. Rooms are clean.

A couple of years back, this place was a pleasure to work in, like a big family where residents, carers and management all worked together to make the place happy and upbeat. Recently however, good management have been pushed out to make way for newer managers that head office thought were better suited for the home. Since then, morale has dropped significantly, and from my counting, around 40 members of (good) staff have left because of the decline within the past 2 years. One thing I will always say about this home, is that the carers here are out of this world. They are loyal, committed and devoted to their residents regardless of the situation. The carers have held this place together since day 1, and they don't receive nearly as much credit and recognition as they deserve. They Earn minimum wage, to be overworked and rarely have time to get breaks in. They work tirelessly, and they deserve an award. Carers get the 4 stars, management is the reason for it not being 5. Personally I think that head office need to recognise this by at the very least ensuring that they have their breaks on a regular basis, because they get their pay deducted whether they have it or not, but the staff are too loyal, caring and committed to think about themselves, therefore management should.
