Smashing Wines

This family business attended two festivals and pretended to put through payment in front of me and did not actually process the payment. They did very well at the events and sold out of wine and then despite all promises refused to pay after the event claiming they had no money. I have been chasing them for payment of almost 3,000 for over 18 months and this has caused extreme distress to me personally. I would never trust either of them as they have both promised payment dates and never sent the money. I provided the service and trusted them to pay and they have not done so. I am about to take legal action against them to recover the funds.

Since lockdown I have used Smashing Wines instead of supermarkets, for my wine purchases. I am so impressed. They have a superb range of wine, excellent knowledge and free next day (and sometimes same day) local delivery. Supporting local families is now more important than ever. Owes a small local business money. Refuses to pay even though the required service was provided. Have had to start legal proceedings. Ignores all contact, including a letter from our solicitor. Very disappointing...

Knowledgeable team, awesome selection of quality wines (far superior to anything you'll find in a nearby supermarket) and a great tasting station too - well worth a detour to meet Clement, Rebecca and the Smashing Wines gang!

Woodbridge is lucky to have this amazing wine shop! The staff are so friendly and they know their stuff! A great selection of wines and an ever increasing selection of spirits too! I love that you can try before your buy!
