I stopped at the clinic for a week after my hip replacement. My stay was excellent, the staff were very friendly and nothing was a problem for them. Two sessions of physio a day certainly speeded up my recovery, The food was lovely and one evening my daughter came for a meal with me.

I spent a wonderful week at Lynden Hill, recuperating from a hip operation. The nursing & physiotherapy staff were beyond fabulous - kind, professional & very patient. I'd also like to thank the catering & admin staff too - nothing was too much trouble for them. I'd recommend Lynden Hill in a heartbeat.

My mum stayed here after her knee replacement. She initially booked for two, but the care she was receiving and the progress she was making made her decide to stay for two more, plus she was absolutely loving the food. It was lovely to be able to join her for lunch when I was visiting and the staff were very welcoming.

I recently spent a week at Lynden Hill following a full hip replacement. I cannot find the words to express my satisfaction, praise, gratitude to every single member of staff. The facilities are outstanding, the individual care and concern exceptional, the physios - and I had three different ones - superlative, the food worthy of a Star! Nothing was too much trouble. I could go on. I'm due for a new knee next so I'll be back. Thank you!

I recently underwent a full knee replacement and I have to say, given my busy work schedule and being fortunate enough to have medical insurance I paid very little mind to the operation or its connotations. I heard my surgeon say it might be good if you go into a rehab facility for a few days after the operation. Accommodation / Health Carers / Nurses: So we researched and booked into the Lynden Hill Clinic. Needless to say, 3 days after my surgery I arrived at this beautiful country house near Reading and I realised the operation that I had gone through was not a 3 day rehab, more like 2-4 months! I arrived and I was in a pretty miserable state but after being there for 2-3 Days, the genuine and caring energy I received from the staff across the board really changed my mindset. Not only did they counsel me on the nature of the rehab I was starting my journey on but they also gave me a lot of much needed motivation to get down to the job in hand. I ended up staying there for nearly 3 weeks and have had some form of engagement with most members of staff during this time. All of whom are unequivocally some of the most caring, kind and genuine people Ive met. The nursing staff, a lot of whom have been there for a very long time, were excellent and clearly dedicated to their patients' recovery and comfort. They all had that good old British empathetic bedside manner that you dont get anywhere else (certainly not in the US where I was based for years). All in all, the rooms were spotlessly clean and very hygienic. The room I had was a good size, airy with great country views. Physiotherapy / Rehabilitation: The physical therapy team went above and beyond. What was most impressive to me during my time was that even though I had one or two dedicated personal therapists, the entire team was in the loop and aware of my limitations, abilities and requirements. Upon arriving home this week, my doctor and physical therapist were amazed at my progress. F&B: Although I didnt interact with the other guests or eat in the dining rooms, they were beautifully laid out with a piano player in the evenings and looked very comfortable when patients visitors wanted to come and eat. There were a number of guests complaining about the food quality, but my response to them was how is the rehab? They said it was excellent. So I said, well I see they are ambitious with their F&B menus but I think you have to put this into perspective as to the primary reason why you are in the facility. If you take the time to read the menu, remind yourself you are in a rehabilitation centre (not at the Gordon Ramsay Restaurant at The Savoy). Manage your expectations, stick to the simple things from the menus and you wont be disappointed. I think they were probably a tad ambitious with some of their dishes but on the whole I ate well. Forgive me for anyone I have forgotten as I cant recall everyone's names, but big thanks to Deny, Sofi, Michelle, Josh,Agnieszka, Flavia,Rahul, Sara, Ann, Hussam, Emerson, Polly, Anna, Emma, Luis P, Luis S and the golf buggy chauffeurs. To end - I would 100% recommend your facility in the future, both to my surgeons rehab team and anyone I know who would need a clinic such as yours. JB
