Thank you to Daniel who took the call on reception today. How refreshing - he was polite, professional and had the right tone of voice when asking sensitive and confidential information. He clearly explained the process and efficiently set up a callback from the Doctor. This is the quality of service that all receptionists should aspire to. Great work Daniel, excellent interpersonal skills and you conveyed a postive energy.

For a long time I resented this practise and now I just feel a curious sense of self-loathing. Why have I remained ? They are wholly indifferent to the idea of prescribing life saving medication and I am a diabetic. Surely it was always obvious that this was a bad match. I find myself making excuses for them...maybe they don't get it, perhaps nobody told them thst insulin plays such a fundamental role in the management of sugar levels. Currently I am standing outside a pharmacy as I have been promised that today will finally be the day that my insulin prescription will be issued. Of course, they promise so easily at wellington. I have already visited this pharmacy twice, have zero insulin left and am watching my sugar levels rise. I have called the gp 4 times over two weeks, sent several messages and explained that I'm running out. The calls take around half an hour. They end with effusive apologies and then total abject inaction. I have been at the pharmacy for an hour now and my sugar readings are dangerously high.

The worst GP ever, I had to be seen emergency by GP but every time I called them I was in the queue for 1 hr and then the phone hanged, I am going to change my GP , useless.
