The Threshing Barn

I ordered the EEW nano 2 online and delivery was very quick. They have an excellent selection of spinning wheels and other essentials too. It is a great little spinner and very reasonably priced. I'm not sure if I would order blended fibre from here again though. I ordered 2 x River swale blend as I loved the colours - they are accurately represented online and it looked just the same when i got it. I've just started spinning the fibre and it doesn't seem to be as high quality as blends I have ordered from elsewhere. There are lots of nepps in the fibre and it is compacted/felted in places. It feels like I'm having to fight with it to be able to spin it. Very disappointing and I'm not sure I have the patience to do it all over again with the second 100g! I wonder if something went wrong with the blending/production of this fibre as I expected much better.

Such a wonderful shop with a fabulous owner who it turns out was staying at the same place as my family and I. I absolutely loved having a look through all the goodies on every shelf and in every basket. I was so tempted to grab a chair and start crocheting there and then!

Well stocked shop with large variety of all things spinning and weaving. Very pleasant owner. Also does mail order if you cannot get to the shop.
