Situated deep in the Country side . Beautiful location . Tight road's in the area. Donna is an excellent host. I would recommend staying here. I might stay for a long weekend next time because apparently there's loads of walking routes around here . Donna will make a packed lunch on request () .

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Ivy Cottage B&B last week. Donna was a lovely host who couldn't do enough for you. The B&B itself is in a perfect place with plenty of walks nearby (we chose a 5K circular route to follow post breakfast the next morning which was really lovely), it's also in walking distance to plenty of places to eat (we chose to go to The Buck due to dietary needs and they had fab gluten free options available). There is parking outside the B&B on the street which has a voluntary fee. We were in the smaller of the three rooms in the B&B and it was plentiful, with a comfy double bed, tea & coffee facilities (plenty of specialty teas to choose from too which is always a bonus for me, and you could ask for fresh milk too), en-suite toilet and shower, and a TV. The room was immaculate, very clean and aesthetically pleasing too. It's the little details that really made it, such as a packet of tiktacs on the bedside, and cookies by the tea & coffee. [The picture attached is the morning we left, hence the ruffled bed sheets ha!] The breakfast was fabulous too. You filled out a breakfast form the night before and chose your breakfast time (8am, 8:15am or 8:30am). My husband is gluten free so his options can often be limited, but Donna catered for him so well - one of the best Gluten Free breakfasts he's had in a hotel. For both of us, there was the option of a full English, yogurt, fruit, toast and jams, eggs on toast, (and then cereal too for me), plus, orange juice, apple juice and tea / coffee. Thank you Donna for a wonderful stay - we hope to be back one day! Nearby activities: Hiking walks (we used the all trails app which is free)
