Paul is not your average funeral director - he is an absolute legend. He treated my mum with the utmost dignity, sensitivity and respect and made all her final wishes come true. He is so thoughtful, kind and empathetic and understands that there is no such thing as a one size fits all funeral. He made my mum's goodbye a really intimate and special experience. Thank you, Paul! Oh, and the orchard is just a little piece of heaven on earth. Cannot recommend Orchard Funeral Services highly enough!

Could not recommend Paul enough , he looked after my mum with the upmost dignity and the Orchard burial Ground is just perfect so peaceful surrounded by nature.

I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Orchard Funeral Services. Paul & Janette helped guide me at a very difficult time & I cannot fault the funeral provided for my Mum. The setting is lovely (go & see it-I wish I had!) & we were able to make Mums service personal & as she would have wished. Thank-you xx

Paul is a down to earth gentleman. He possesses compassion with charisma and empathy. He shows the ultimate deference and respect to all. Paul's expertise, extensive knowledge and welcome wisdom made a big difference to us. His advice in talking through what needed to be done in terms of registering a death to recovering the ashes was done, not just in a professional manner, but with gentility and profound understanding. You were a real god send to us at such a vulnerable time and you pulled us all through which brought us peace in knowing our beloved, Sandra, was laid to rest as she wanted - fuss free and in the family's best interests. I cant speak highly enough to convey that Orchard Funeral Services deliver on every level which brought us comfort and peace of mind. Its difficult to make a complex process simple but you just have that gift. Paul, thank you for your being there with us at all times. Every time we called you it was reassuring. You gave us your precious time. A true gentleman and an angel of mercy. Thank you.

Firstly, I highly recommend that you DO NOT book with Orchard Funeral Services. I'll be honest, my family and myself are shocked at the service we have received from Orchard Funeral Services, specifically Paul himself. For my grandads funeral not so long ago, he was not only disrespectful but the least bit comforting during such a hard time. Firstly, during the reception, he asked when my family would be leaving about an hour into the event; baring in mind some family members had travelled from down South to be there. He then makes the comment 'hope to see you again soon' with a smile on his face which although he may not have meant it horribly, is very questionable wouldn't you say? Most importantly, upon booking with Paul, a family member had told him that they wouldn't be able to pay him until the insurance came through and he said that was fine. While it did take a couple of months due to the insurance company, during this time Paul was not understanding whatsoever, even when individuals were hospitalised, and even began to threaten family members with the notion that he would dig back up the grave. I would never book with this service ever again, and if you're looking for the perfect way to say goodbye to a friend or family member in peace and harmony, Orchard Funeral Services is not it. One good thing to the experience is his wife & other staff members who were lovely to speak to.
