I was given a steam driving experience voucher as a gift for Christmas. Whitwell contacted me and said they were doing a catch-up weekend. After a few pointers I was able to drive their steam train "victory" for a good 30 mins up and down their track. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We stopped for a couple of ales after the experience. Lovely location, good prices, friendly staff. Good to see sensible covid measures in place. Can't wait for the site to fully reopen and visit again. Anyone with a passing interest in steam engines should book a driver experience now!

I have had coffee and cake here before and it was lovely, sadly though we had hot food and it was dreadful!! It was just reheated pre-prepared slop, I ordered the beanburger, and no joke it must have just been microwaved and placed in a bun, no salad or garnish, just cheap. Likewise with my wife's burger which resembled a burger from a really cheap burger van!! What is worse, when our table was cleared we were never asked why I didn't eat my bean burger or why my wife ate only half her burger? We couldn't be bothered to tell them, they should be embarrassed. I have had better food at a kids birthday party!! Also, the coffee was lukewarm and tasted like a cheap own-brand coffee from a petrol station, you know the ones!! I feel sad leaving such a poor review but I have to be honest, my advice is travel into Reepham village square and eat at one of the two excellent pubs (5 min drive)

Great place for railway enthusiasts. The small cafe was open on the day we visited. Selling coffee, teas beers etc.
