        What a fabulous family run campsite. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. We were welcomed in to their annual awards presentation which real good fun with genuinely nice people. The prices are very reasonable. Clean and well kept facilities. Highly recommended. We stayed for the Busfest weekend in September.

        What a disappointment. Site owner Keith showed us to pitches and watched us site our vans, waited 3 hours and then came and told us we were " blocking the light" from neighbouring pitch. Then a different issue: your vans are facing the wrong way. It's illegal. Then WHY NOT SAY THAT when we arrived? Trying to get 2 year old to sleep.Site owner was rude, called me " one of those who doesn't like to be told" " inconsiderate' and " evil". Had paid up front and would have been happy to pay for night we stayed but they retained over 100. They also refused to give back the " returnable" deposit for shower keys and for unused shower tokens. Won't stay here again. Avoid. And contrary to next review this is an ENTIRELY accurate account of what occurred.
