        Thank you Astrid, Mark & Family for making us welcome at High Forest Cottages (last BH weekend). Our stay was made so special, with goodies in the cottage to get us going. We (Anne & I) and our two boys (doggies) had such a lovely weekend. Stable cottage was extremely comfortable, plenty of home-comforts and warm. We look forward to returning again, very soon!! Anyone who is looking to stay in the New Forest, with approx. 30 min drive to South Coast (Bournemouth) 45 mins (also with dogs), High Forest Cottages has everything you need, take it from us, we can't wait to return!!!

        Stayed for 3 nights and will definitely be back. The cottage was very clean, airy and well equipped. Most importantly, the bed was extremely comfortable and the cottage was toasty with good underfloor heating and a log burner. Parking is easy, right outside the cottage door. The location is perfect for the northern part of the New Forest and only 10 minutes from Lyndhurst. A large Coop is just 3 miles away, and there are plenty of local pubs. Astrid & Mark were excellent, welcoming hosts and sent out very clear directions and information pack. Definitely 5 stars.

        Superb standard in quality of property and furnishings and is truly set amongst the beauty of the New Forest. The property is ideally located close to supermarkets and a short distance to most popular spots accross the forest. We also travelled south to the beaches which was only a short 40 min drive. Highly recommend the Goat pub for a nearby good meal. One very minor minor critism was that the garden wasn't enclosed which made looking after the dog outside a little more challenging. Lovely holiday, lovely house and we would definatlty consider coming back.
