The landlady behind the bar is a weirdo, talk about lack of basic manners! Totally obnoxious. Shame really because its a nice pub, Ill wait till shes gone before I ever go back.

Cant understand what the negative reviews are all about - no doubt review bombing from other local pubs. Landlady is absolute stellar, as well as the great and friendly clientele. Will definitely come back again and again. Great atmosphere and loads of events. It is a local pub, but was made to feel completely welcome. Been to a few of the other local pubs in the area, Joshua Tree and The Marquis of Granby which are lack lustre at best.
