Requested online for a nursery visit, received call from nursery within 3 days and informed me there is no space until August ,i said alright no problem what about September onwards.she said that would be pretty much same no space . Bizarre!!!!.i asked is that all space booked September onwards ? She said no its going to be . I said fine no problem i hang up the phone . I thought what is the whole meaning of this phone conversation ? She very beautifully done her job there is no space for my child though there is still space from September onwards she doesnt even botherd to give a chance to my 2 year old boy. I dont want to put any kind of racistic or social status background . issues to this incident .I just wanted to share my experience.thats all about it and i just couldnt understand what is she meant .

Our girls have been in the Bunnies room for 10 months and have absolutely flourished. The staff, facilities and care are absolutely amazing, I cannot fault it at all.

Over the past 18 months we've had experience of all of the rooms at Somers House for both of our daughters and we couldn't be happier. The staff are kind, caring and relentlessly enthusiastic in all that they do and the facilities are second to none. We feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful setting for our girls and wouldn't hesitate in recommending the nursery to anyone looking in the local area.

Enthusiastic team who really care. I narrowed down a short list of nurseries in Reigate and surrounding areas using Ofstead reports. Somers house being new didn't have one yet so I looked at the reports for their two sister nurseries and was impressed. Having gone to visit the top 5 on paper, I have to say Somers house was the clear winner for a number of reasons. Staff are engaging and really enthiastic with a genuine passion to help nurture little minds whilst creating a fun and supportive environment. This extends to the front of house/admin team who are a delight to greet at the gate, and are always so welcoming. The family app sends daily updates but unlike other nurseries, which just gave you a time line of food eaten/nappy changes/ nap times, Somers House have daily posts with multiple photos explaining what they've been learning and the fun methods they've used to help their understanding. You also get regular mile stone observations sent on the app with accompanying pictures. With the observation there's also a 'next step' and they explain how to support them in progressing to the next mile stone. These mile stones might be language, motor skills, social skills etc. Food is fresh and cooked on site. There's plenty weekly variety and the menu cycles through seasons. Most importantly it sounds delicious!, Being not yet 2 years old the nursrey is fresh and clean and has a nice outdoor area with sheltered area. Due to covid there was limited use of their 'sand Room' but luckily its back in action now and you can't beat a big room full of sand for little ones to have fun! There's a number of animals, like bunnies and tortoises. Even the babies get involved in helping to feed and care for them. Learning to use their 'gentle hands'. In the spring they were even hatching caterpillars into butterflies and eggs into ducklings! My daughter loves it so much she always runs into the arms of her carers in the morning. She started at about 10months old and is now nearly 2 and I'm amazed on an almost weekly basis the new vocabulary or understanding she comes out with that I've not taught her. I can only credit the nursrey with this as owing to lockdowns she's had very little other external learning opportunities. The staff are just as excited when she makes these progress steps and it's very much two way communication between home and nursrey to provide consistency in approach. I rarely leave reviews but I have to say I feel compelled to highlight what a lovely experience we've had, and continue to have, with the team at Somers House.
