Brilliant doctors! Have always been brilliant with me and my childrens appointments. Call up in the morning and 9/10 we always get an appointment the same day. When I had an infection from my c section my doctor went over and above checking in to see how I was after the weekend and booked a scan to check the lump. The receptionist have always been friendly when calling or going into the surgery.

As a family we have always been very well looked after by The Wall House Surgery and are very thankful for them all, nothing but good things to say about them.

Unprofessional doctors, need to retrain again. If I could rate this, I would rate it zero

It is a Herculean task to get to speak to a human being at the Wallhouse Surgery. In fact, I think Hercules would have ended up crying in a corner if he had ever tried. The automated voice menus bar the gate and if you do get through, after an hour or so on hold, you cannot book one after 3 in the afternoon. You just get put in triage with the promise of a call back. They did call me back, and the following day, which was genuinely lovely but the receptionist I spoke to seems to wish to guard access to doctors appointments like a dragon guarding gold. It was very frustrating, and honestly quite upsetting, to be spoken to in the way I was and to be denied the basic care of an appointment. I was previously unaware that seeing a GP was going to involve running the gauntlet and would still result in me being unable to get an appointment. Very stressful to know Im now going to have to fight to get very basic medical help. I dont know if theyre under staffed or they simply dont care about patients but all I could think of was how much worse it would be for an elderly person living alone and having to navigate all this. No sense of care, or of actually mattering to this surgery, at all.

Unless you have an urgent need to see a Dr. it is impossible to get an appt. Before Covid you could book an appt for several weeks in advance using the Patient Access app, if the issue was non-urgent, but that facility has been removed. Currently you need to either try calling in at 8am for a Triage appt, or book a triage appt. using the app. What are you supposed to do if you are at work during these times and unable to speak on the phone if a triage appt. becomes available. I thought I would just use the Livi app and speak to a GP, as I have done in the past. This functionality has also now been removed and you have to pay 39 to speak to a Livi GP. I would love to receive a reply from the surgery so I, and others, can find out how to book a non urgent appt?
