JVB Construction were a major part of the team who build our new home. So, they have been our first choice when we have had jobs needing doing as they know the property inside and out. I have found the JVB team to be prompt, polite and respectful. They take their shoes off at the door and clean up after themselves. Each job has been completed swiftly and competently, even when the weather has worked against them. Having built houses from the ground up, no job phases them. They always present with reassuring confidence and positivity. A special thanks to Carl who has done some magnificent work and always stays until it is completed.

We contracted JVB to build our new self-build home from the ground up. From start to finish, they were fantastic and every member of the team did a great job. They showed up on time, worked hard, kept the site clean, were friendly, considerate, and completed the projects quickly and as scheduled. The build was by no means a simple job, we used natural stone, lots of steel, curved walls and curved glass. However, with regular contact and communications from Joe and the JVB project manager, they ensured that the job was not only completed to plan but also without any issues. The standard of workmanship was 2nd to none and we have had numerous compliments on the work completed by JVB from other tradesmen on site. Joe ensured that we were happy with the progress throughout the whole build. His attention to detail was excellent and would instruct his team to change anything that he personally wasn't happy with, normally before we even had a chance to look at it. As with any type of build or renovation there are changes made along the way, this was never an issue and would be met with an eagerness to please and to do the best they possibly could. I only wish all of our contractors worked as effectively and efficiently as JVB. I would have no hesitation in using JVB again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a builder. You will not be disappointed.

Gorse Hill Road, Virginia Water. Joe and his team worked for more than a year-and-a-half on our project starting in May 2020 ( the Covid pandemic rather slowed things down, quite inevitably.) The project involved changes to more than 75% of the pre-existing house and my wife and I were on-site throughout the work. As you would expect for a large re-construction project like this, there were ups and downs but you have to expect this and be ready to give and take to get the best from the members of the working team. I consider myself to be someone who knows pretty exactly what he wants, possibly a challenge to some, so if I say that the end result is that we're now living in a lovely home then you can be sure that JVB knows how to deliver what their client is looking for. The secret with JVB is to get to know Joe very well. At the end of the day it's people who produce good results and Joe is the prime mover of everything that happens in his company. He works extremely hard and long hours to ensure things are done properly. He is a good listener and he also has very many good ideas of his own, has excellent judgement, and can advise you about a solution to pretty much any problem. On top of that he is very straight, good natured, positive and generous, so that every issue we came up with was met with a very effective solution. Joe is a perfectionist and finds it extremely difficult to accept a mediocre result but he is very agreeable man to to work with. On the basis of my experience I can very sincerely recommend JVB to anyone looking for a good, sound, solid construction company with very high standards and am very pleased to provide this endorsement.
