We purchased coated metal chairs and a matching table some years ago. The warranty period was 5 years. It rusted within that period and it was replaced. Kettler informed us that the coating process had to be changed to an environmentally friendly one and they had had some issues with the new process which had now been resolved. The second one did the same though, again it was replaced and again we were reassured that it would last. The third time it rusted but they wouldn't replace as it was outside the warranty period. I have some sympathy with Kettler that they can't go on replacing however as my mother-in-law's Kettler chairs and tables are showing no signs of rust after 15 years I can't recommend these products. The warranty period on her set was 10 years, not five, so the only conclusion I can make is that they are not fit for purpose in the UK climate.

Bought my second RHS steamer approximately 18 months after buying my first one. The original quality was excellent and the chair has lasted well. Kettler has replaced the high quality metalwork with cheap replacements but I notice the price hasnt dropped!! (359 RRP). Dont waste your money thinking you are paying for quality, you will buy similar elsewhere for half the price! SHAME ON YOU KETTLER - for abusing the value of your brand and your customers loyalty.

Very stylish furniture BUT the customer service is appalling. We have a number of issues with the quality and the problems have still not been resolved. The response to emails is very slow, can be up to a week to answer a simple question, with mixed messages offered. Weve now missed the whole of July and Im sure this will continue through August. We just need to resolve our problems. Please..

Dont waste your money thinking you are paying for quality, you will buy similar elsewhere for half the price!
