I crossed over from PADI earlier this year and it was a brilliant decision. Really friendly, active club with diving most weekends. I've done more dives in the last 3 months than I had in the previous 3 years!

Hadnt been in the water in over 14 years but was recommended to Redditch Sub Aqua Club. Everyone was welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable. I have not only got back into the water doing something I love but also made some great friends along the way.

I have been with Redditch Sub Aqua for almost 8 years now and still love it. I started off with PADI 10 years ago and found it to be too expensive so I joined BSAC with Redditch and it was the best decision I made. Ive made some amazing friends as well. The club is very friendly and makes everyone feel very welcome from the first day. Always organising trips to different places and has its own club boat which is a bonus. Thank you to all of the instructors who have helped me along the way.

Looked into getting scuba lessons before a big trip to Australia a few years back. PADI said no chance of qualifying before going, and was really expensive for lessons. In contrast, Redditch SAC not only got us qualified with time to spare, but did so to a higher safety standard than PADI, and for near zero cost. The lessons were all run by fully qualified instructors within the club, on a volunteering basis. They bent over backwards to make sure we got through all our pool practice sessions and open water dives in time, and ran theory sessions to get us through the exam. In Oz it was really apparent that the quality of teaching we'd had was far higher than anyone else who had done entry level PADI. (I'm sure that varies by school of course. Was just our observation on this trip.) Redditch SAC is a super friendly club with a great attitude towards helping new divers. Joining was definitely the best decision we could have made.
